What is Champion Karate about?

At Champion Karate, we enthusiastically welcome aspiring martial artists in Calgary, from as young as four years old to adults of all skill levels—whether you're a beginner or an advanced practitioner. 

Founded in 2022 in Calgary by Sensei Yevhen, a World Karate Champion with over 20 years of coaching experience, Champion Karate is built on excellence, dedication, and community. Under his mentorship, our students have achieved outstanding success at national and international championships, growing into confident and disciplined athletes. 

We’re proud to offer karate classes at two Calgary locations—McKenzie Towne and Evergreen—to better serve our growing community. 

In Evergreen, our classes are led by passionate and accomplished coaches: 🥋 Sensei Nazarii, a high-level athlete and technical instructor, and 🥋 Sensei Maksym, a national champion known for his energetic and inspiring coaching style.
